Security Measures
You might be happy with the security measures already in place at the property but it could be that you want to feel a little bit more secure once you move. Simply adding some door chains or adding new locks can help you feel more comfortable in your new house. If you want to feel even more secure then some CCTV cameras or a burglar alarm system could be an even better idea. The reason this is such a good idea at the start is really two fold. First of all, it will let you all sleep comfortably in bed the first few months and get a great start there. The other reason is that when you first arrive to a property is when you are most likely to be able to spot possible security weaknesses most clearly.
