Channel 4 Property TV
It seems as though the world of entertainment has been taken over by property TV. Our obsession with reality shows, game shows and soaps has been over-taken by a charming presenter, walking you around an idyllic countryside cottage in the Cotswolds. With Channel 4 showing over ten hours worth of property TV shows a day, it would be safe to say that they are the Kings of ‘property porn’. And it doesn’t stop there. This coming year, Channel 4 has promised at least eighteen new shows, all focused on buying, selling, improving, or even building your own home. Kirstie and Phil will once again be back as our property parents for a twenty-first series of Location, Location, Location, while the Amazing Spaces team will be back inspiring us to build our very own home creation.
Millionaires’ Mansions
Last aired 7th April 2016, next shown 14th April 2016 at 8pm.
The nation’s fascination with the super rich and famous doesn’t stop with reality shows, such as Made in Chelsea. Channel 4’s latest insight into how the other half live is Millionaires’ Mansions, which explores how the lavish lifestyle is created with the help of top end interior designers. With interior features such as gold-dipped leaves and stingray-skin tables, the short series is certainly bizarre, but makes for fascinating viewing. If you want a touch of decadence in your home, why not check out our 5 Top Home Trends.
