Many people opt for a chalet that is ski-in, ski-out, meaning that you can walk out of the chalet door and right out onto the slopes. This means no walking in ski boots or riding the bus, you can simply step into your skis and start skiing. Those with children will know the value of this highly convenient approach. Because chalets of this kind are located right up by the pistes, they usually offer breathtaking views of the surrounding slopes and mountains.
